Overall Project Management

Technical and organizational complexity due to the high number of interfaces running through the SAP PI/PO system (>2,400) and the high number of connected systems (>60). Zero-error tolerance in the supply chain of Switzerland's largest retail company. Technology change from a dual stack system (ABAP and Java) to a single stack system (Java only). Project management and communication across various departmental, corporate, and group/cooperative boundaries. Leadership in a federal corporate structure.

New development, specification, and implementation of the entire project methodology. Project leadership through all phases from business blueprint to go-live. Extensive conceptual and methodological work. Leading the departmental leads in applying the methodology and tools. Setup of HP ALM / HP QC as test tool to coordinate the multitude of test cases and testers across departmental, corporate, and system boundaries. Leading the development leads in the migration phase. Developing the framework conditions for documentation (interface repository and scenario wiki, etc.) and acceptance of development work (unit test & 4-eyes check, etc.). Conception and specification of the methodology for preparing and conducting functional and connection testing (preliminary test for release of developments to IT), integration testing (end-to-end tests of all interfaces), volume testing, and failover & disaster recovery testing.
