Scope & Complexity
Rollout of the SAP® solution to 5 production sites and 7 sales units. Complex production for configurable products. Heterogeneous production sites with different manufacturing approaches. Integration of MES systems for machine control. Complex supply chains due to Europe-wide goods flow including OEM and brand products. Increased complexity due to relocation of activities between sites, merger of two business units, and split of one business unit. Implementation of the principal model and introduction of standardized processes and value flows. Implementation across all business areas: Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, After Sales, Finance & Controlling.
Concept & Methodology
New development, specification, and implementation of the entire testing & training methodology. Extensive conceptual and methodological work. Leading local testing & training coordinators in applying the methodology and tools. Setup of a test tool for extensive automation based on SharePoint with defined workflows. Conception and specification of the methodology for preparing and conducting integration tests (end-to-end tests of all processes), shop floor tests (tests in production), pressure stress & volume tests (load tests), user acceptance tests, authorization tests, and Europe-wide regression tests. Conception and specification of a need-driven training approach. Development of the methodology for preparing and conducting key user trainings, data & data validation tool trainings, LAM (Local Application Manager) trainings to build local support teams, and end user trainings.
