Role

Team Lead Development for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF) for the parallel cluster projects England/Belgium/Netherlands and France. Interim Testing & Training Lead for the integration test of the cluster project England/Belgium/Netherlands.

Scope & Complexity

Rollout of the solution to a total of 8 sales, 2 production, and 2 logistics sites in a program with two template projects, two cluster projects, and a total of 7 sub-projects. Implementation across all business areas: Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, After Sales, Finance & Controlling. Group-wide implementation of the principal model and introduction of standardized processes and value flows.

Concept & Methodology

Setup of program-wide multi-project and resource planning as well as time tracking. Supporting cluster and project managers in creating project schedules with dependencies, milestones, and quality gates. Conception and specification of fit/gap and development methodology from gap capture to finished, functionally tested software using SAP Solution Manager's change & release management. Conception and specification of go-live support methodology using specially adapted SAP Solution Manager as ticket system. Conception and specification of risk management methodology and conducting regular risk assessments. Conception and specification of open issue methodology using SAP Solution Manager as program-wide unified tool for open issue management and bottom-up as well as top-down transparency. Extensive conceptual and methodological work. Specification of the overall approach from the PMO.
