Scope & Complexity
Program for the renewal of the entire system landscape of the client. Parallel go-live of five new systems in the complex E2E process landscape of an energy provider for the construction and operation of energy infrastructure. Coordination of and between central and local teams in a partially multilingual environment. Parallel go-live across almost all functional areas of the client with corresponding company-wide impact: General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Order to Cash, Controlling, Procurement, Maintenance, Grid Construction, Maintenance, Asset Data and Feed-in. Complex migration environment with migration from x to n systems.
Concept & Methodology
Development of a holistic cut-over concept for five systems to be introduced in parallel (S/4HANA, EAM, Customer Portal, Partner Portal, EEG Billing). Alignment of migration strategy across all projects, departments and data objects. Creation of a comprehensive cut-over compendium as central coordination basis. Coordination and management of approximately 1,200 individual measures, some hour-precise and with critical dependencies, across all sub-projects. Ensuring smooth process cut-over with departments across all business processes with end-to-end dependencies. Development of fallback strategies and risk management for all critical system transitions. Close coordination with central and local teams to ensure a common detailed plan. Development of action guidelines and process documentation with departments. Active support of go-lives to ensure business readiness and sustainable system stability. Regular status reporting to stakeholders from IT, business, and external partners. Resource planning and coordination for all cut-over activities.
